A huge crackling bonfire was the centerpiece of a fabulous fall afternoon on the shores of Lake Austin yesterday.
I’m doing something different for this post. Since for far too long I’ve stayed away from taking photos that someone wasn’t paying me to take I’m sharing a new photo album (follow the link to view photos) rather than an article on something that matters to me.
I hope these photos speak for themselves about why I no longer feel like such a stranger in a strange land. That’s the power of community. And the power of a place like Austin.
What’s not to love about spending a crisp Saturday afternoon doing THIS!?

Allison, WOW, gal you got it “Situation well in hand” well done, I can definitely relate to this. Really miss that community, its the glue that bonds us all and you spoke volumes with those pics. The old shaman is right “Few words are all that’s needed.” Cochise was quoted “Few words and straight talk.” I got that. Beautiful Fall day happy for you that you found a good home. Thanks and thanks again for your healing heart. God Bless.
