Hi, Pierre,

For someone who was raised in another country (Belgium) and speaking another language I think you do quite well! (Must have been those wonderful Longview schools! ;-) )

Thanks for taking the time to read my blog.

Hugs to you from Texas!

Hello Allison,
You are so right to express your "being fed up" with all the junk one can collect via the web and emails.
What also bothers me is getting ads on the sides of my emails in gmail for instance. It makes me feel as if someone (a computer surely does it) is reading my mail and throws in a couple ads regarding some cities or other words used in the text. It's an attempt to one's privacy.
I enjoy reading your posts and wish I had your verve in writing in English. I am learning new words with each post I read. Thanks.

Hi, Anne. Lovely of you to read my blog. I've really enjoyed yours.

"But ignorance is not an act of hostility, but rather an absence of knowledge."

Yes, I agree and this is a very enlighted view. And accurate. And it's still hard to take the punch in the gut gracefully. In my case I know that I suffer from too many years of subverting my own truth in order to "be nice." This period of outspokenness will no doubt give way to a more patient and compassionate dialogue. As a mother of four I know have deep reserves of patience.

Your darling mother is a shining jewel of everything compassionate and enlightened. She was always a great influence on me as a girl, and as I became the woman that I wanted to be. And it's no surprise that she raised you to be the person you are.

I will most certainly find her soon to tell her this.

Hugs,
Allison

"Rants are good now and then."

Thanks for this, Lee. And for taking the time to stop by. It's not my real nature and I think as women we have to learn to speak up eventually or turn into really, really angry people. Wrong is wrong.

;-)
