Dear Tzviah,

I'm fairly certain that Johar grew up in a Palestinian area of Nazareth. But boxing is a small world and I'm sure he knows of your friend. I'll certainly pass along the comment to him so that he can join our budding dialogue. Thank you so much for "stopping by" to say hello!

Blessings to you!

Dear Allison,
Do not know Johar, but have a close Israeli friend- he is married to one of my best friends - that represented Israel a few times in boxing in the Olympics who probably does. He works as a healer and does massage and is quite involved in the fitness -wellness routine of some of Israel's best known athletes. Aaron grew up in Upper Nazareth, the mostly Jewish suburb of Nazareth. Ask Johar if he knows a boxer called Aaron Yaacovshvilli - now Yaacovi.
As we have successfully built an incredible Arabian horse community in Israel and the Palestinian territories that crosses all cultural and political lines, I have no doubt that Johar can use boxing as a "hook" to connect people here on a human level.
As long as people are psssionate about it, they can form a community around it.
Sounds like a great project.
Good luck with it.
